Nicky was born in 1982 and grew up hunting and fishing in the Umkomaas valley near her home town of Richmond. After her schooling in Pietermaritzburg, she studied sports management.

In 2000, Nicky’s love of hunting and the outdoors drew her to the world of safari filming. For the past 15 years, she has traveled extensively all over Africa including Zambia, Zimbabwe , Botswana, Mozambique, South Africa, Namibia, Tanzania and Kenya.

This has enabled her to work in some of the most renowned hunting concessions and reserves in Africa such as the Niassa, the Selous, Serengeti, Luangwa South, the Okavango delta, the Ngorongoro Crater, and many others.

Nicky is a highly experienced big 5 camera person, and a fun person to have in camp. When she isn’t out in the field, she is editing her filming projects or attending marketing trips in the USA.
